ALDI in Orange City

Very nice Aldi's. Clean, well organized, and fully stocked on most things. I especially like that it's closer to where I live than previous Aldi's I've visited. I do plan to continue visiting at least once or twice a month. I love to buy the meats available at Aldi's due to their reasonable pricing. I've posted some examples below.

Level of service at this store is terrible. Products are great but the experience with some employees is not good. I recently decided to order through Instacart and requested a delivery. I ordered in the morning for delivery in the afternoon and I got a message that it was rescheduled for next day. I understood and let it be. Next morning I receive another message that it was rescheduled again for the next day. Mind you the next day we have Hurricane Milton coming. I called Instacart and they explained that on both occasions it was the ALDI store that denied the order. In my experience they have chosen not to fulfill it because it is a large order of 55 items, most where just most.I call and made a complaint to ALDIs and there explanation is that they have limited staff. They need to do a better job because do you think I’m shopping there again. I rather pay the extra 10 cents on an item and get better service. I don’t have time for this.

Megan (11/3/24 at 1521) assisted myself and my husband today. She was very rude , unprofessional and condescending. She was politely asked to correct a simple error on her part. Due to my husband’s request she changed her tone, facial expressions and body language in a hostile, later turned passive aggressive manner. She completely altered our shopping experience in a negative way. She made myself and my husband feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. No customer should ever be treated so poorly.

Get your quarter and your reusable bags, check out the produce (fresher than Publix, lasts longer), check out the seasonal cheeses (you won't be disappointed), their chicken breast is juicy & the best price I've found (same for eggs and milk) & don't forget the wines! Everything is reasonably priced and all the cool stuff comes out on Wednesdays. :)

Placed an Instacart order. The young lady that picked my order picked rotten tomatoes that literally smelled like fish and rotten cucumbers. After arriving home and seeing they were rotten I went back to the store to see if I can EXCHANGE the rotten tomatoes and cucumbers and I’m assuming it was the manager on duty said no I can not exchange them. I have to do everything through the Instacart app. Make it make sense! I am not asking for a refund, I’m asking for an even exchange. If that happened at Publix all I have to do it provide proof of purchase and they EXCHANGE with no issues! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Used to love the new Aldi in Orange City. Lately not so much. Store used to be stocked really nice. The last 3 times there I was greeted by plenty of bare shelves. I don't know what's going on there bad Management or what. Went there early last night and there were no oranges tangerines or Bananas with plenty of other items not available. I was flabbergasted and went to the Deland store just to find if there was a shortage of fruits and vegetables. Guess what everything was available there so it has to be bad Management. Aldi is opening a new store on the corner of Catalina and Howland in Deltona close to my house and I can only hope it turns out better than the Orange city store.

The new one in orange city is much better put together and I don’t see nice fresh fruit there they are bruised strawberries not looking good neither are the blueberries. Bagels and bread ok and what is with every aldis I go to the cereal boxes are crushed on top? Some cheaper prices other stuff the same prices as Walmart. No deli and from what I hear in certain areas they have better stuff than our area! Interesting
