ALDI in Henrico

Clean and well stocked, a big aisle for seasonal stuff which is definitely awesome around the holidays. Employees were nice and helpful, though it's always strange that they have like 6 checkout lines but only one is ever open. Produce section isn't huge but it has all the staples, you do have to buy most vegetables in multi-packs which I think is the norm at most Aldis.

Wanted to share a recent experience that makes this particular Aldi worthy of much more than five stars: I'm a Doordash driver and deliver from here frequently. Sometimes the orders I receive are awfully close to closing time (8pm for this store.) Normally that's no biggie, Aldi isn't complicated and you can get in and get out relatively quickly. The last order I fulfilled here was a different beast entirely. Ten minutes before closing, the order comes through and it seems reasonable, just a few items, but as I'm rushing to collect them, the customer at home is still adding items to their Doordash cart: a whopping 80 more items. Eighty. Eight zero. For a total of around 90 items. Yikes. Closing time comes and I'm barely halfway through the list, exhausted after nine hours of making deliveries and frustrated that I even took the order. One of the staff, I unfortunately did not catch his name, was trying coax lingering shoppers to check out so they could close up shop. I showed him the progress on my order, and rather than toss me from the store (which he was well within his rights to do) he took the lead and helped me speed through the rest of the shopping list, getting me checked out in record time. He would head down one aisle and tell me where to find items in another. It was a gauntlet. He was clearly irritated, tired, and was sure to let me know that closing time *means* closing time. Far be it from me to argue the details, it was a hell of an inconvenience for him regardless. And he didn't hide his exasperation, either. But he didn't berate or belittle. I needed help and he helped. Plain and simple. Regardless of whether or not it was just to get a pesky delivery driver out of his store. After the type of day I had before accepting that delivery, it was a godsend. Long story short: the people working here will get you what you need, when you need it. They go above and beyond. It takes a lot of patience to work in service, grocery, or retail, and at the end of the day you *just* want to go home. But if they *can* help, they will - sunny disposition be damned. And that's worth more than a polite dismissal any day of the week. 10 out of 5 stars.

Ron was so amazing! He helped me load my groceries onto the belt while my hands were full with my children. He was unexpectedly kind to a busy mama, and I won't forget. We've been aldi shoppers for 5 years now, but moments like this solidify my decision to keep shopping here.

Sometimes they sell out! I really love Aldi. They have great products like grass fed butter, grass fed beef and real heavy cream! Sometimes the price is so good they sell out of certain items like one of my favorites, the bread “Knock your Sprouts Off”. Great place to shop and good prices.

Yes I went over here to get a bag of frozen fruits and some cucumbers. I was looking for some ginger which I did not locate. But that's okay I can always find it somewhere else. But I like going to Aldi's because they have great prices and they have good customer service. I highly recommend all these whether you're just popping through locally or you're getting off the freeway and you're traveling go get you a quick bite and you know spend your money wisely. I even compared their prices with the Walmart on some things and Aldi's is cheaper. So thank you all for my great experience I really appreciate all the effort that you put in to having the great customer service and the low prices. See you soon. Because I'm definitely coming back

I love this place. It is always clean and extremely affordable. I went in to purchase items for a large dinner forecast at my home and the bill came to $12. I couldn't help but ask if they had made sure that they charged me for everything! The brands are different. Therefore, you have to be willing to be a bit adventurous. To date, most of the Brand's I have tried taste just as good as the ones I am used to getting an hour traditional grocery stores. Some of the brands I have found taste better than the ones in our traditional grocery stores. This place is definitely worth trying!

Aldis is always a great place to shop. Their private brand has been as good as, or better than brand names on pretty much everything ive tried, with few exceptions. They also have foods that are not easily obtained around me, like Italian Speck. In that same vein, exists their only major fault - sometimes something you really liked may not be carried anymore, but that can be said for any store really, it just seems to happen a bit more frequently here. Oh, and of course, the prices on everything are phenomenal. Just make sure you have a quarter for the cart and bring a bag. Great store, 10/10

Aldi's has very good prices. I love that I can get some German meats there. Good customer service as well. I like that it's a small store because sometimes you just want to make a quick stop without having to go into a very busy, large …
