When we got to our room the TV was not working and there was not a controller for the TV in the room. My son went and let the gentleman know at the front desk. He came up and tried to help us locate the remote but we were not able to find it. It was late so I told him not to worry about it. A week later I received a call and was asked about the Apple TV missing from our room. I let the lady know I was not aware there was Apple TV in the room because we could not use the TV because the remote was missing. Come to find out someone had taken the Apple TV from the room. At this point, for me, it was not a big deal because we don't really watch much TV and figured they would get to the bottom of it. I thought nothing of it until a week later when my credit card received a charge for $500 from the hotel. I called the hotel and the lady that answered said management had told her to charge my credit card for the security fee because they thought we took the Apple TV from the room. I explained what happened and how we reported the missing remote to the front desk when we stayed there. She remembered talking to me the week prior and apologized and said she would have management call me. Long story short I called four different times to try and reach management and never received a call back. The lady who answered the phone was polite and apologetic but said she was not sure why they are not calling back and there is nothing she could do. I took it up with my credit card company and they handled it but it was an extremely frustrating experience. I was hoping to take my wife and daughter back there because the hotel has a lot of history and we enjoyed Bisbee. There is no way I would ever stay at this hotel again. I felt like I was accused of stealing when there is no way they could accuse me of that because we reported it to the front desk the night we arrived. I also feel like they stole from me by trying to charge me the $500 security fee and never calling me back. Rooms: 2 Service: 1 Location: 4
