I am a long time car guy so the changes in landscape of the automotive industry have not been well received by me. “Local Market Pricing”, inventory constraints, and the general lack of customer service have been disappointing to say the least.
I've been shopping for a 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC for almost a month since my Lexus was totaled in an accident. And when I say shopping I mean it - shopping at MB dealers across the US. I've been astonished how poorly some dealers treat customers, regardless of the brand or price of the car. Even more disappointing was how poorly I was treated at a dealership group I have purchased multiple cars from over the last 10 years. I won’t mention the names of the dealers who disappointed; rather, I want to focus on the ONE dealership that went above and beyond to provide an exceptional experience, Mercedes-Benz of Fayetteville.
From my initial contact with Mercedes-Benz Fayetteville, General Sales Manager Erin Roberts was remarkable in every respect. Erin invested time in truly getting to know me as a customer and greater, took the time to discover what my needs were. Erin didn’t try to steer me to a car simply to close a deal and make a sale. Rather, upon discovering what I truly wanted, Erin located the GLC on my behalf. We had a candid, transparent discussion on price and agreed in principle before she secured the car. Every aspect of the transaction was seamless and transparent – there were no surprises. And, Erin stayed in contact with me during the entire process.
Dylan Graham assisted once I arrived to pick up the GLC. Dylan, too, was a consummate professional in every respect and spent a great deal of time walking through all the amazing features of the new GLC. Finance Manager Kendrick Davis had all paperwork prepared and ready to close the business side of the deal. He too was professional in all respects - no high pressure sales tactics, no surprises. Without question, the easiest, most efficient car -buying experience in more than 20 years. Mercedes-Benz Fayetteville has a customer for life.
