I visited Stew Hanson Buick GMC on Hickman Ave in Clive, which is part of the Ken Garff group, and my experience was disappointing. This past Saturday, while driving by, I decided to stop in after noticing a black Hummer EV2 parked prominently at their main entrance. I was very interested in the vehicle, so I pulled into the lot, got out to take a closer look, and was approached by a salesman who was friendly and answered all my questions.Due to my family waiting in the car, I couldn’t stay long, but I expressed my strong interest in the Hummer EV2 and told the salesman I’d return on Monday after being offered a test drive. I then provided him with my name, phone number, and email so he could send me more details about the EV. Unfortunately, I never received an email or follow-up call from him or anyone else at the dealership.Ultimately, I took my business over to Stew Hanson Dodge/Ram/Jeep, which is also a Ken Garff dealership, and worked with Oscar S. (Highly recommend), who provided excellent customer service and got me into a $75K 2025 Ram Laramie.I’m not sure why Stew Hanson Buick GMC customer service was so poor, but it felt as though they assumed I couldn’t afford the $100,000 + Hummer EV and chose to ignore me. Their lack of follow-up not only cost them my business, but I also saved myself money by going elsewhere :-). If your dealership continues to treat potential customers this way, I’m confident GM will take notice and take action.
