The hotel is beautiful, really charming frontage, nice secure underground parking that was super easy to get into and out of. And very clean -- outside and inside. Room was nicely appointed, neither fancy nor spare, just very comfortable. We had an oceanfront room, and the windows were huge and clean and clear. We really enjoyed the view of the beach in the evening and the morning, both from the room and from our little patio area. In the evening when the traffic dies down the sound of the surf was very relaxing. Main room door and patio door both have very secure locks, and -- crucially! -- every window had fully opaque curtains. Breakfast was waffles, cereal, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, juice, coffee, pretty standard hotel fare. Loads of good places to eat within striking distance of the hotel. This was our first time staying here, it definitely won't be our last!
