This is not an AYCE place. The majority of the sushi is a la carte and will be ridiculously expensive in the end.
That being said, I came here for the combo poke and it was good… the fish was fresh and all but my lord there was so much vinegar in the rice I couldn’t eat it. The ratio of fish, rice, and greens was unbalanced. There was enough yummy fish but far too many greens and rice in comparison.
There’s also a very good drink selection, you can get soda out of the can, and some unique drinks.
The waitress was nice but the atmosphere was just not very pleasant. It’s not like it’ll interrupt your dinner but it’s just dingy and unwelcoming. This place also does not seat large groups, I mean you could try but it’s tiny and narrow inside.
I wish this place could have been better, given the location, it’s more worth to spend more and get more at Top Sushi, or maybe even Blue Fin; for AYCE. If you’re lookin for a cuter spot I recommend Momo (albeit it’s a bit more expensive)! All being said, nothing outrageous or amazing about this place, I won’t be too harsh because they are trying their best and the fish is fresh.
