12/10. Can we start there? If I had a "last meal," it would be the squid ink & crab, corn-pepper chow chow pasta, and the coconut sticky rice dessert with "parmesan" rice flour. Please forgive my forgetfulness for correct names of dishes, but let it be known nothing about this restaurant is forgettable. From the cozy ambiance, eccentric decor, ever-present and communicative Chef de Cuisine (whom also sang along to the carefully curated 80's playlist) to the colorful dinnerware, this is an absolute MUST when venturing to something away from the every day. I do warn you, dear diner, that this will become a day to day spot. We also ordered the whole branzino, chicken skewer, and lumpia, and all of those items, as well as their pairings and sauces, are enough to make you smack yo mama. (Dont do that, but absolutely do try this place out). Thank you, Magna Kusina. Haven't had a meal done like that in a long, long time.
