We went to the pharmacy yesterday to get an emergency 7 day refill of blood pressure pills as my husband didn’t bring enough for our trip. We had the perscription bottle and kindly asked the pharmacist for what we needed. Using the word “emergency”. She in no uncertain terms was willing to do this and told us no pharmacist would do it without an American perscription. She was not very kind and watched us move about the store like we were offending her after the conversation. In online searches we find that infact, pharmacists can do these type of emergency releases and that she could have helped us. We will be trying at other pharmacy’s. Very un-Pono!!

The old lady at the pharmacy counter is extremely rude. She didn’t even apply insurance OR ASK if I had insurance. She snatched open the bag when I ASKED what I was prescribed so she could check. & then to top it off, she counted each bill and put it on the counter for me to pick up one at a time when I don’t feel well. Rudest customer service. Maybe it’s time to replace her! If you’re THAT miserable, GET A DIFFERENT JOB!!!!!

I am a CVS extra care plus member every time I try to make an order online because it is out of stock at the store it cancels my order, including my extra care coupons this time 40% off an item plus another four dollars off purchase. They have not replaced those coupons. I would not recommend ordering online to CVS. They’ve canceled at least a dozen of my orders over the couple years, I’ve tried.

The employees would not take my prescription due to the hospital not writing it the way their pharmacy wanted them to write it. I called the hospital and told them what the pharmacy needed and the hospital told me the pharmacy was incorrect and all they needed to do was to call them and confirm and I didn’t need to do anything. I called the pharmacy back and they said they could not take the prescription and refused to call the hospital. I asked them what to do if the hospital was refusing to fill it out the way they wanted and they said they would not fill it even though I just came from the emergency room. I will make sure to always use another pharmacy and not this one.

Longs is always a required stop when we're in Hawaii. You have to pick up all the essentials for your stay as well as stock up on the best wash clothes and macadamia nut treats! Oh, and your CVS card/account works there!

We had a terrible experience here trying to get a prescription filled. Charie and Joyce from the pharmacy refused my fiance her medication.
They completely ignored the laws of the controlled substances act of Hawaii. Saying that they are denying to fill it because, "its their store policy to not accept new patients."
This pharmacy has been the only one on island to have her medication in stock for months. We followed every law in the controlled substances act, received a brand new prescription from our doctor sent directly to the pharmacy.
They were unable to site any laws as to why they denied the prescription. Other than store policy.
They completely disregarded what is best for someone needing their prescription.
They also wrongly defined her medication as a 'narcotic' multiple times and that is completely false information- I'd expect someone working within the health care field to be educated on the necessary medications they are providing.

WORST pharmacy I have ever been to! While traveling from out of state my young daughter developed an ear infection. When we arrived at the pharmacy we were rudely received and told that they didn’t take our insurance. When I offered to just sign off and pay for it (we’ve done it before) they simply said “not an option. Call your insurance” (it was a Sunday- not possible). I also couldn’t call the walk in clinic that we came from to send the rx elsewhere- they had already closed. I was pretty much begging the ladies for help at this point, they didn’t care and just walked away. I was appalled.
I called a nearby pharmacy and they offered to have it transferred however, Longs wouldn’t do it. When I went to speak with them about it they were extremely RUDE rolling their eyes and dismissive. They again walked away. They didn’t care about the patient who was in pain and miles from home.
Again- worst pharmacy with the most uncaring and rude employees I have ever met!! Do yourself a favor and go to Safeway pharmacy- it’s night and day difference!!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Dr called in prescription, I went next day to pick it up, they have no record. I called dr and they assured me it was sent but called and left a voicemail for the pharmacy anyway. The pharmacy *called me* saying it was ready to be picked up. Went to get it, they say they have no record of me. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. The shelves were picked over and a disaster as well for OTC medication.

Worst pharmacy I have ever been too. Complete lack of empathy or any emotion whatsoever. Bunch of rude ladies behind the counter with absolutely no passion for helping people. They make it an absolute chore to pick up my prescription and there always seems to be a problem on their end with organization. I’ve walked in multiple times to try and pick up my prescription only to have them say it’s not ready. When the CVS app clearly is notifying me to pick up my prescription.! Management needs to STEP IT UP.
