What a fantastic gem of a gallery. I've yet to see a show here but the gallery has an eye popping display of very local and regionally local artists. High quality and thoughtful art in a gorgeous, renovated building. A true gem for Buffalo.

Great venue but slightly confused as to what to call it..... Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Centre, or Asbury Hall, or Babeville??

9th Ward is one of the coolest rooms I have been in to see a band play - Mates of State. Staff was gracious. Sound was perfect. Bathrooms were clean. Bar had good options. Definitely a solid place.

Great venue!! I was there for a Buffalo Improv House show, and the space was very cool. They have an awesome gallery on3 the main floor, and the theatre space in the basement was comfortable and the perfect size for the event.

Great venue (former church)that usually has good valued shows. They need to get better seats for their seated performances. The fold out chairs are awful, uncomfortable, and will cause back pain after sitting for an hour and I'm not a big guy I wish...Read More

We had never been to this "room." The theater-type sitting was great, and the sound was outstanding. Oh, yeah, truly enjoyed the group creating that sound: Dan Pugach Nonet, 9-piece.

Had a film screening in the downstairs room and it was nice. The room was the perfect size where you didn't need a microphone in order to be heard during the Q&A we did at the end.
