I did not know what to do except my insurance company advised me to get an attorney even though the fault is 100% on the other driver. My insurance company told me this is to project myself. I was asking around, Harris personal injury was referred to me by one of my friend who is in auto insurance business for a long time. So I called, feeling helplessly. The firm was really good and explain to me what to expected going forward. They had done a through job in explaining to me everything. I was rushed into emergency twice since the accident, but the doctor did an OK routine work and send me home. With Harris Personal injury, they sent me to concussion treatment right away, which was a tremendous help because I was having headache everyday, and all the doctor was giving me pain killer, which did not really help!
I know a lot of ADs telling everyone you can get a HUGE compensation from the car accident, in reality, its more complicated then that. I was thankful the firm took time to explain to me how everything works ( I was not expecting a huge check, rather just to make sure all my hospital bills were paid).
