Right at the beginning, I felt she was far more empathetic than other attorneys I had spoken to, especially towards typical Desi family dynamics. She adopts an approach which is firm and protective, but not unnecessarily adversarial and vicious like other attorneys. Throughout the process, I felt she had my back at all times, but she never took the baits that the opposition was throwing, always keeping the end goal in sight while ensuring the right actions are taken to protect me at the right times. She will always try to settle things out of court as much as possible, saving time, money and unnecessary conflict. At the same time, a fair resolution was reached for both parties.
She is very responsive, gets back to most messages within a day or at most two, and patiently answered all my million questions. It honestly felt like I had a big sister protecting me throughout the process.
She also helped me take care of estate planning at the end, which was a breeze.
