Chick-fil-A in Chesapeake

Chick-fil-A consistently stands out from the crowd of fast food restaurant chains. I have never had a negative experience at any Chick-fil-A store, I can't say that about any other chain restaurant. It starts with the staff, always friendly, efficient and professional. It's a treat to walk into this store and interact with the employees who make me feel like a valued customer and truly seem to enjoy their jobs. The store is always clean and organized and inviting. Everything is shiny and new since they recently razed the building and rebuilt the store from the ground up.Most people agree that Chick-fil-A food is pretty darn good, especially by fastfood standards. My wife and I favor the spicy chicken deluxe sandwich which is always crispy on the outside while tender and juicy on the inside. An order of delicious waffle fries is the perfect accompaniment to your sandwich. Other items I really enjoy at Chick-fil-A include chicken salad (cup or sandwich), grilled chicken club sandwich, and of the delectable chick-n-strips with dipping sauces. For breakfast I like to keep it simple with a nice chicken biscuit and some hash browns, always delicious. Do you want a drink with your meal? Eschew the usual soda pop and treat yourself to their refreshing and delicious fresh-squeezed lemonade or freshly-brewed iced tea. Bonus, you can enjoy their free Wi-Fi network during your visit to keep you connected.Product quality is very consistent here across the board. Remember the scene from the 1993 movie Falling Down where Michael Douglas is going a little crazy with a submachine gun at Whammy Burger? Remember his reaction when he compares the sandwich in his hand with the picture on the menu board? That wouldn't have happened at Chick-fil-A, what they serve you actually looks like the picture on the board. You know the restaurant can get crazy busy at peak times with drive-through lines wrapped around the building and a sea of hungry mouths queued up at the order counter inside. I marvel at the speed and efficiency with which the staff operates in these situations. They never seem to get lost in the weeds and the lines move very swiftly.I appreciate more than the food and customer service here. Chick-fil-A is a responsible employer that gives back to the communities they serve and maintains a proper sense or corporate responsibility. While I sometimes wish they were open on Sundays I appreciate the importance they place on giving their employees a break every week. All in all, this restaurant rocks and when it comes to fast food Chick-fil-A is definitely number one on my list.

Been going to this location since we moved here and boy has fhe food and service gone down hill. Got these fries last night and realized something looked wrong. After realizing that if I put the top one down, there was literally half a container of fries, all stale. I get it, you're busy, but if you're gonna charge us for a large at these rates and give something smaller than a medium fill its pathetic. Do better, Jesus is judging your corporate greed.

I’ve had issues with this CFA in the past but decided to try again. Wish I’d passed. Got a large tea with no ice and a large cup of ice. When I went to add more tea to refill my cup (after I’d drank an entire cup), I noticed a fly on the side. After slightly shaking the cup I saw another. I didn’t even want to see what was underneath. Gross.Called and the MoD said ‘I hope that’s not the case’ to which I responded, oh, it IS the case. And no, I do not want to come back to get a new drink.Go to a different CFA the food is sub par (biscuit had been under the warmer so long it was overly soft and portion sizes are very small compared to other local CFAs).

As a CFA Signature Member and having a business relationship with a franchise in my hometown, I think I can speak to experiences at CFA pretty well. This restaurant has been my worst experience to date. The staff was rude, the fries (which I know carry weight in the franchise) were cold and mushy and to top it off we didn’t receive our full order and they gave us two wrong drinks. CFA is supposed to be an experience, not just another fast food restaurant and this experience was so bad it wasn’t even worth going back to correct the mistakes in fear we would just be met with more attitude. We had just gone through a traumatic event and we purposely decided to eat at CFA for some comfort. To the employees at this restaurant, BE BETTER. You never know what someone is going through, a little grace can go a long way.

Arrived about 11:50 am, ordered my food. It took 15 minutes to bring it to the table and it was wrong. The first person who looked like an assistant manager said she'd correct it. She never did. A different person eventually corrected the problem, but wait, there's more.3 hours later I stopped in for a frosted coffee. After 15 minutes of waiting I saw one just sitting unattended by the register. I asked if it was mine and was told no, then mine was handed to me about 1 minute later. During both visits I observed several employees including managers milling about discussing anything but the work at hand. This is very disappointing for such a strong band. I believe the brand began to deteriorate after the company founder died.

The service will rival that of any other Chick-fil-A, so it's pretty good. Our food is always hot and fresh. They can get pretty busy, but they do a pretty good job getting to everyone in a timely fashion. Since the remodel, it's harder to get close to the pickup window, so you really have to stretch to reach your food and drinks. Highly recommend the egg white grill, spicy biscuit, and scramble bowl for breakfast. Their grilled chicken is super tasty without being dry, exorcism the nuggets.

The parking lot of the CFA is always empty whenever I come. The drive thru takes FOREVER. I’ve been coming here regularly for about a month since moving here from the Deep South of GA- so maybe I’m CFA spoiled. The workers are not as friendly here. I’ve had to sit at the window before waiting on food & the workers had their backs completely turned to me just conversating. Today I’ve sat in the drive thru line for over 20 minutes for a mobile order. They need to learn to better interact with their customers & how to be efficient with operations such as moving waiting cars up & having outside team members to take orders.

Unapologetically terrible. I eat all over Hampton Roads and this is by far one of the worst over all fast food locations. Ive had many more problems at this specific location than i should but have never felt the need to give them a rating. Well, I found a clump of hair resting on top of the condiments inside my bag. I had already blindly been eating fries from the bag. So I was grossed out. Not one hair. Not two hairs— but a clump of many hairs. Absurd amount of hairs. Almost purposely. The young guy who seemed to be running the place barely offered an apology saying its “just a hairnet” and asked me if I wanted another. No, I dont want another, genius.They have a Chickfila in Portsmouth thats better than this one.

They have recently remodeled this location and the upper management is here standing around trying to look look they are doing something. The problem is they have about 10 employees behind the counter including management but they only have 1 register open. There is a customer at the counter that is known to the employees because they are bending over backwards to be nice to her. But the rest of us in line are waiting and waiting to be served. There are 2 registers but not 1 manager had the forethought to have one of the employees just standing around to open it up.I fault the management.....they are not in touch with what is going on around them.You can remodel and make everything pretty but if your customer service sucks people will not come back.

I was ignored for 15 minutes, if I didn’t say anything they probably would’ve let me stand there and stare at them all day. No “hi” no “are you picking up?” Literally nothing. They didn’t even start my order when I placed it 20 minutes ago. Sucks to see everyone get served before you and no welcoming either. What’s even the point of placing a pick up order? 1/10, do not recommend, take the extra 15 minutes drive to Grassfields cfa

Visited Chick-fil-a for dinner. I ordered through the app, which I love. Then pulled up in the drive through. The drive through line was very short but once I got to the window I had to wait for my food. They told me I had to wait for kale salad and to pull into a VIP space. I waited for 10 minutes and then called them to see if they forgot about me. They came out a few minutes later with a bag full of cold food.

The employees are so polite and sweet. I don't think I've ever had any issues with this location. Also I was on the phone with my sister and I started crying and the sweetest employee was to take my order. She told me something I needed to hear and she related to how I was feeling. She had a similar situation in life and it made me feel better, a long with my order.

This place can't handle pressure. I waited for 20 minutes and they finally told me they didn't have spicy chicken. Then I said well just give me a regular and some hot sauce. After that they said oh we have spicy coming out right now. I said if I have to wait another 5-10 minutes I'd rather have the regular and they said no we have it. 6 minutes later I'm getting my order. It was just a sandwich and fries and it took 26 minutes no joke.

Im a door dasher and I don't like to deliver open drinks to customers so I went back into the store an asked for a sticker to cover the drink that way it doesn't look like I did anything to tamper the order. The manager name Courtney I believe was the one who so rudely cut me off by saying you don't provide stickers for the drinks because it messes it up. But I was gonna ask for another Cup and lid to put the drink in so it wouldn't spill everywhere and like I said earlier doesn't look like I would tamper with their food. So she told one of the workers to hurry up and get me a sticker for the order. Mind you the store wasn't busy so It shouldn't be a problem to simply just get a sticker for an order.

I didn’t mind paying high prices because the food is usually on point. However, lately, that has not been the case. Today I ordered a spicy chicken biscuit meal. The chicken looked like it had been sitting there for a while. There were only 8 hash browns in the box. I don’t normally count them but there was plenty of room for more. They were cold as well. I would expect this from other fast food chains but not chick fila. Very disappointing!

If I could, I would give a zero. I went through the drive through today. I spent over 25 min in line waiting just to get cold, soggy fries, do dipping sauce for my nuggets that was clearly on the ticket , and no straws for my drinks. The quality of this location has deteriorated so bad. I tried to call to express my concerns and remedy the situation but of course the line just rang busy during lunch hour.

Only about 45% of people prefer white chicken meat. I'm not one of them, and I don't frequent anyplace that sells only white meat. However, for people who are into that, Chick-fil-A is obviously doing great. I'm sure it won't change just for me, but it just puzzles me that all the white meat stores would target only 45% of the population.

My day didn’t start off too well but I ordered here for lunch today and my food was so good it made my day that much better. I ordered an 8 piece grilled chicken nuggets with a side of mac & cheese and a lemonade. The nuggets were cooked just right, mac & cheese was evenly cheesy from top to bottom and I’m not sure if it was a mistake but I ordered a medium and received a large lemonade instead lol. Whoever made the mac deserves a raise, it was superb for fast food. Great job!

What more do you expect from CFA?My friend and I were greated immediately.The cashier was very patient and pleasant while we placed our order because my friend has a very strict diet. They worked with us. Meal came out quickly and was delicious.The restaurant itself was very clean, bright, and inviting!

Food was delicious as always but man their staff is horrible. Not the expectation I’d have for a chic fil a. We sat and waited over 20 minutes for 2 spicy chicken meals watched countless people come in and leave before we even got our food. Manager gave us a gift card or something but the staff around her is absolutely horrible.Asked guy for my drinks after he gives me my food and he hits me with a smart “I’m getting them sir” instead of handing me my food and say one moment while I grab your drinks. Then some other girl says “don’t tell me what to do” while walking from behind the counter to the bathroom. Didn’t sound like a joke to me.Poor service on my one food stop before my 7 hour ride home to Charleston, SC.

Food is constantly missing when we order through the drive through and the customer service is horrible. Staff is rude and always have attitudes or eye rolls, Definitely not like the other locations that we go too. If you’re actually looking for the Chic customer service that’s always provided this is not the location to go too. Orders should never be wrong with the amount of people working there and standing around!

There is a gigantic building, but they don't allow you to dine inside. You must do drive-through or walk up only. Many people probably are not bothered by this, but I really hate it. 2 out of the 3 employees I dealt with directly were extremely cordial and genial. One was willing to help with an order discrepancy quickly and generously, and another was helpful in directing me where to go and who to speak to about pre-order pickups. Over all nice experience, I am just disappointed in the lack of indoor dining facilities.

Was very excited to try the new pimento cheese sandwich so I didn't mind waiting this time. Order the new meal with a half and half tea. After 15 minutes I received my order and left. When I got home and opened my sandwich there was 1 jalapeño and maybe a 1/2 table spoon of pimento cheese oh I was given unsweetened tea. Seriously..... $13 for this. Food was great, no complaint.Drive thru was fast for being completely full. Had the newer person and they did great and efficient. The little exit on the drive thru was actually really nice as the lady behind me got her food first so she was able to exit.Will return.

I never thought I would leave a one star review for Chickfila but this location was the most disappointing experience I have ever had. It seemed like they could take orders fast enough and make the food fast enough but the lady in grey who was bagging the orders was taking her time. Ive worked in fast food before and this looked like pure laziness and everyone in there looked so upset. Looked like Wendy/McDonald's workers. Not up to chickfila standards at all.

Chick Fil A is great pre usual!!! Lines are super long (cause everyone LOVES chickfila!!!!) but they move the line crazy fast tho!!! Never have they got my order wrong to date!!! The employees are are always smiling and sweet!!! There is so much good to say about chick Fil a, and this specific location meets the chick FIL a standard!!! Enjoy your next trip...Kid-friendliness: My children ask for chick fila several times a week...

Worst chick-fil-a experience we've ever had! Surprised by this visits dissapointents. Multiple issues accounted for this review. First, they posted a "CLOSED" sign on the mobile window with no instructions on it for our orders. Then while sitting there for 10 minutes I watched as people who ordered their food in the drive thru got their food and left as we continued to sit and wait even longer for ours. Then we finally wme tensile to grab our damn food. Lady was rude, hands me a 2 bags and a cup holder, which I obviously can't hold all of it myself, so I had to ask for a bag with handles. As I'm waiting for that bag she walks away and helps 2 other guests before slowly grabbing the bag and putting it on the counter. Rude and dismissive. And finally. Our order was MISSING STUFF! How utterly dissapointing to be missing dressing AND toppings for a SALAD! As well as the dipping sauces for my daughter's nuggets. This couldn't have been a more worse experience. Disgusted with this locations service.

My son and I went here on November 8, 2022. We both got #1! I have to say the fries tasted like they had been cooked twice. The chicken wasn't cook long enough. This is the firat time I have to say the food wasnt good. I had lemonade to drink and I do have to say it was good.I dont see me going back to this Chick-fil-A again.
