Letter I wrote to Manager: Hello Mr. Clapsaddle, I have to say that this will be my last stay at your hotel after staying there twice a year for over 7 years! The lack of customer service and people who truly care is so limited with your staff. From our tub/shower being plugged and having to ask 5 times over two days to get it fixed and now I have an infection which I have never had before in my foot there was also women’s hair though out the tub (see pictures) and it was dirty and disgusting! The hair dryers was also gross. Floors including carpet were damp and wet. Air Conditioning didn’t work (see pics). And everyday it would rain and then be hot and humid making for the sleeping conditions to be uncomfortable. Also because I am a diamond member we were supposed to be given free breakfast snow we didn’t get breakfast only for the first two days and it was not free it was a 12.50 credit and that didn’t even cover most breakfasts with a drink! And even your staff parking in areas that should have been for customers. I have a handicapped permit as I have had a heart attack and also a bad back and your employees allowed a golf cart without a permit to park in a handicapped spot for 3+ days! Also they allowed a motorcycle to park in the no parking area between the two handicapped spots. I cant say how every year we hoped it would get better but this year was the last straw. I am forwarding this to corporate IHG as I am a diamond elite member and I am pretty sure this is not how holiday Inn wants the guess to be! I hope with the renovations the owners of this hotel realizes that those upgrades aren’t a going to mean anything if their staff just doesn’t care! I normally wouldn’t do this but I am demanding a complete refund of my points and money for this trip as it was one of the worst trips we’ve had because of your hotel!
