I booked a double room with a private ensuite shower room for my stay during the Boston Marathon.
The location is very convenient for getting to Harvard Square for shops and places to eat, as well as the red line T station.
Although the room was small, it met all my needs as a solo traveller and was cosy and pleasant.
One night however, it was very warm during the day and as I was staying on the second floor - rooms starting from 300, it felt a lot warmer in the night.
Not something that could be done at the time, but it may be worth asking about air conditioning.
Staff were very friendly and provided excellent, professional service.
The continental breakfast consisting of bagels, pastries, mini egg muffins, cereals and yoghurt is also included in the price, which was most welcoming to get up for. For race day, they even put breakfast time an hour earlier so that participant guests could eat before heading to the start line. Huge thank you for doing that!
One thing I want to point out is that there is no elevator, so that is something to take into consideration if you are planning to visit for longer than a few days and potentially have a lot of luggage.
All in all, I was very happy with my stay. It was my first time in the US, and this was just so right for me. Thank you.
