Well, the latest horror was yesterday-called to get a quote for my daughter who was buying a car that night, but needed to test drive it first. Cool. Received a quote. Go to the dealership, everything is good until I call Allstate to confirm and make payment...well that guy couldn't find the quote, takes 45 minutes to tell me she was denied but no "why". Furious.
Called State Farm, got insurance quickly AND $80 CHEAPER! Like what? So I called to have my daughter removed from my Allstate policy and they wanted everything down to her social to remove her, AS A DRIVER UNDER MY POLICY! Even wanted to know her new address and her new policy number??? What? I just added her last month to it!!!
That was the last straw. Called State Farm and they got me insurance, bundled with my daughter's for....wait for it....$$85/mo for car insurance, while meanwhile Allstate - James Houston was charging me $215/mo??? How????
