My feedback is strictly for Trent Ferguson and not Allstate nor any other company. I've worked with Trent here at Allstate for some time now and I am confident that I will never find another insurance agent that is as honest and helpful as he is. I've dealt with other agents who believe their job is only to sign me up on their insurance, then point fingers if something happens. Trent is the exception!
Not long after signing up with Allstate with Trent's help, my wife and I were rear ended on the freeway. This kicked off the numberless phone calls to the liable party's insurance, Allstate, and the collision center. No one came close to the amount of knowledge, friendliness, patience, and professionalism as Trent Ferguson.
There were many times where when speaking with a representative from any entity involved, they would point their finger at the other company saying I have to work with them. This circle of chaos quickly stopped when I'd reach out to Trent, or, in many instances he would proactively follow up with me.
He would then take the time to explain how things work and what we can do to quickly move through the insurance process. I went from feeling like I was clay in everyone's hand telling me how things "should" happen and that I have to do all these follow ups between entities, to feeling empowered from the knowledge Trent provided me. He would ownership and work with Progressive rather than telling me I need to do all the phone calls. This was the first time it made sense to me to work with an agent. Before this, my experience is insurance agents get paid to do nothing but sign you up for insurance.
Unfortunately, we do not have more Trent's in this world, but I'm extremely grateful that when I was rear ended I had Trent on my side to deal with all my questions and concerns.
