Cashiers don't acknowledge your existence while they're making personal calls and watching Facebook reels. Specifically the miserable, bad attituded girl with a 00g septum ring who can't be bothered to do her job and treats every customer as they're a complete bother to her existence.
Tonight was the tipping point. She was working the register(after 21:00) despite having the flu or a sever upper respiratory infection while wiping mucus from her inflamed nose with her hands, no tissue, no sanitizer, snot visibly on her hands, and then still working the register touching items.
She particularly wanted to shout at 2 different parents about their two children (both male toddlers following their perspective Dad/Mom, stretching their legs, well behaved, not even talking/sleepy) when their children are literally within arms distance next to them.. I get to the register, and shes got her fingers up her nose wiping snot, in addition to squeezing on her nostrils at her inflamed septum ring, still messing with her facebook timeline, and My daughter (8, not the aforementioned toddlers) looked at me and asked "what did that lady say to her?" To which she immediately pops off at the mouth, snapping at my daughter, trying to bully her, getting nasty and loud with her tone demanding my child to repeat what she just said.... an absolute miserable human being and employee.
