This review breaks my heart but it’s needed in order for any change to probably occur. My fiancé and I recently purchased an appliance and installation service package from this Home Depot store and it’s been a disaster!Let me be clear the issue is not with the in store appliance department, it’s with Home Depot’s 3rd party company who fulfills their deliveries and installation services on their behalf. If I knew the name of the company that does their services, this review would go on their page and not this one.This started back in early April. Home Depot sent us a link to track the delivery of our appliances. We received a delivery window between 3:30-7pm. Around 5:30pm we checked the link and noticed they were on their way. At 6pm the link updated and said the delivery truck was here. We walked upside and found nobody was there. After 15 mins the link updated and said “sorry we missed you” and included a phone # to their customer service team to reschedule the delivery. We figured this must have been a mistake since we were waiting outside for the truck to show up. We called the customer service number and spoke to one of the reps who said she had notes in her system that the driver was at our house for 15 mins. The driver even said nobody was home and even included a picture of the house. I asked the rep to send me the picture the driver took. As soon as I saw the photo I immediately knew this wasn’t a recent photo and it was taken off of Google Maps. The customer service rep was shocked and said she has never seen anything like this in the 10 years she been working for the customer service team.Fast forward a week later and a new crew is sent out to our home to make the delivery. They came and were only able to install 2 out of the 6 appliances we purchased. The two appliances they installed were the stove and the microwave. We’re not living in the house yet and another week goes by and my father notices a gas smell. He moves the stove and finds two things installed incorrectly. First was the safety bracket that is attached to the wall and the stove was just placed on the floor. It wasn’t secured to the wall or floor. The second was that the gas hose wasn’t connected to the stove properly. They failed to seal the hose correctly and it was leaking gas for over a week.I could go on with some of the smaller things they managed to mess up but this review would go on forever. Instead if Home Depot management actually cared they’d look into this 3rd party company and reconsider doing business with them moving forward but I suspect it’s not a priority of theirs. Our business is just a drop in the bucket compared to the sales they make every day. I wouldn’t trust this company to change a light bulb in my house.P.S. The associates in the appliance department at the Woodbridge store are top notch! Everyone of them was helpful and caring. Patty the appliance manager helped us every step of the way with rescheduling and looking into the nonsense that was going on at the delivery company. I’d give them 5 out of 5 but unfortunately this is about the services Home Depot provides
