I had a frustrating experience at this store. I found a pair of boots that were clearly scuffed and damaged, so I politely asked if a discount could be applied. The cashier, who seemed new but very nice, asked an older employee for help. Unfortunately, the older woman was dismissive and said, “This is how they are, and no one has worn them.” That may be true, but the damage was still obvious, and her tone was unnecessarily rude and unhelpful.
As I was walking out, I spoke with the manager, who couldn’t have been nicer. They quickly returned the boots and gave me the discount without any issue, which I really appreciated. Honestly, I don’t understand why the older employee was so rude when the manager handled it so effortlessly. Customer service matters, and I hope this is addressed because experiences like this can really turn people away.
