I went to pick up my child’s prescription at that Walgreens and walked up first; they couldn’t find it, and when I told them the time they received it, they were talking among themselves instead of telling me their system was down. When I asked, Katherine one of the white employees there told me that I couldn’t get it with an attitude, I said to her that I had a sick child in my arms and I needed that medicine for him, and she started yelling at me when I told her no need to yell then Kevin, another white employee responded defending his white co-worker while I have my son crying in my arms. I told him that I wasn’t talking to him and that racist said he wouldn’t give me the prescription and for me to go someplace else and called someone to escort me out of the store.I told them that I wouldn't leave without the prescription, while Katherine is cursing at me and calling me names under her tongue for what I don’t know. These people shouldn’t be working with customers, they are racist, all the white customers who were there, didn't treat them as they treated me. Even at the front register Katherine was still being nasty to me just because I am back and have a sick black child with me. I do hope Walgreens do something about that because these two employees shouldn’t be treating people like me the way they did.
