Yesterday was the 4th of July and I decided to drive to La Jolla earlier than my lunch date just in case there was traffic. I drove past this place and noticed it was open. The restaurant I was going to was only a few blocks away, so after I parked my car I made my way to this place. When I entered, I was warmly greeted. The woman at the desk did not try to upsell services, she just asked what I liked and then showed me the way. She immediately took me to a beautiful, peaceful room that smelled so pleasant. Everything was clean and it just felt so zen. The music was relaxing, the lighting was low, the sheets felt luxurious. I climbed on the bed and my therapist, Joey, knocked on the door a few seconds later. He asked a few questions about how I liked the pressure and what results I was looking for and he got right to work. I was impressed. This place got it all right, down to the very last detail. The work he did on my back, shoulders and neck was deep like I asked but never painful. He maintained a deep pressure throughout the entire massage and never lost contact with me. I appreciate that because when a therapist walks away during a massage to get something it sort of interrupts your vibe. I could tell he paid attention in class because his method was very detailed and he worked both sides equally well. He was highly professional. I am so glad that I randomly landed here and can honestly say that I will find my way back.
