Online timer is way off. I checked in 40 minutes before the start of my lunch break at work, the timer said 48 minutes estimated wait time. I went to Qdoba next door and ate lunch, then went in the store... asked if I checked in online, gave my name, and then was told it would be another 20 minutes.
And here I thought I was going to be late, as it had been 55 minutes since I checked in online.
I waited there for 25 minutes, then walked out with 3 people still in front of me (and 3 "stylists" working) because I had to go back to work. At this point, it had been 80 minutes since check-in, and it would have still been another 15-20 minutes... on a 48 minute estimated wait. By my count, it estimated about 50% of the actual time it would take to get in the chair.
They could use more than 3 chairs in the waiting room if planning on undercutting the estimate and filling the place up with waiting customers.
I'll just go to Sport Clips in Rochester tomorrow on my day off, sit in an actual chair in the waiting area, and get serviced within 5 minutes of the online estimated wait time..
EDIT: nearly a month has passed, and time for a haircut again. I'm not sure what possessed me to give them another shot, but...
Today, I checked in and the timer said 3 minutes. 10 minutes later, an elderly woman came in and was checked in by the staff. After 23 minutes, a stylist finished with a customer, took their payment, and pulled a slip off for my turn (my name disappeared from the screen). She then waddled back to her area, swept it up, and promptly went on break. 5 minutes later, another stylist finished her customer, pulled a slip and called the elderly woman back to cut her hair. I waited another 5 minutes before walking out yet again, no haircut again, and another lunch period completely wasted by your inept staff.
