On Wednesday, July 24, my husband and I casually browsed the General Dollar store. Upon entering, we were happy to see that it was quite clean and well stocked.
On this trip, I spotted a small footstool that was tucked in a corner by itself. The cloth covering was a print of light blue and cream. I was so delighted because I knew it would match my blue decor at home. I proceeded to the check out counter and asked the retail assistant for a price check. She smiled and then, immediately dropped what she was doing to locate another stool or a hidden price label. Finding neither, she began making phone calls to obtain more information. I continued shopping but I could still hear that she was on the phone waiting for a price check. During that time, I showed my husband the stool and he talked me out of it. I approached the counter with several items to purchase. The retail assistant was completing her phone call and announced the price of the stool as she began checking me out.
Needless to say, I did not purchase the stool, but I would like to extend my appreciation to the retail assistant for the outstanding customer care and support that she provided. She had such a pleasant and warm demeanor and her persistence/patience was so impressive. Thank you for a great experience 😃🎉🏆
