Read More5 stars for the people working there today (8/22/25). They were kind, thoughtful and very helpful. I grew up going to Freebirds. I remember, we would go and crush a super monster after Saturday football practice (I don't see that on the menu anymore). The food is ALWAYS disappointing now. Cold proteins and the selections that are so bland its like thet were all cooked/mixed in the same "blagh" sause. They are missing that great fire roasted, fresh off the grill taste that Freebirds was so know for. With seasoned, charred meat and spicy toppings. It's sad now, the food is just sad (especially for the price). I decided to give it another try after my year sabbatical from the place. I guess the little boy in me (hungry for a taste of my youth) is always hoping with fingers crossed anticipation that it would be different......nope. This whole food chain needs a reset back to what it was when it was founded. If you don't mind paying $18.00 for terrible food, this is your place. If you want to help out a business that has kind and thoughtful employees, this also is your place.
