Food was good and did not take long to make and bring out to the table. Was a little bit pricey but compared to other food places at the island it is comparable. Will definitely be coming back. Also the atmosphere is great.

I was looking for tacos al pastor and El Chilango Taqueria did not disappoint. I was also able to try the tacos bistec which were delicious as well! This is a nice restaurant with an attached artisan market that has dine-in & take out👍👍.

I love this restaurant! Tacos are huge and worth ever dollar. Their Chorizo taco knocked out of the ball park. Sopes were delicious. The little retail shop is interesting for those who want to take home some Mexican Soveneirs.

Very solid Mexican restaurant. Food is great, the decor inside looks like you’re in Mexico. Got the Chicken Enchiladas, tasty. They also have a small store inside the restaurant selling Padre Island merch straight from Mexico. 9/10

I decided to try something new and got the sopes al pastor. It was delicious! The base, fried masa was perfect… crunchy on the outside, soft interior. Among all the flavor , there were little pieces of pineapple. I’d definitely get this again

Visiting from Dallas and decided to stop by here. We ordered tostadas, enchiladas, fajita tacos, guacamole, micheladas, and birria tacos. The fajita meat was a little chewy for me. Overall everything was great! Will definitely come back and recommend.
