We lunched here recently on the advice of a local. Spouse and I enjoyed a grilled chicken salad with tomato, cukes, egg, and cheese. Friendly counter service, but there wasn't a chance to leave a tip. Cute country motif. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

A classic country kitchen, the food was excellent. I'd recommend the chicken fried steak and the daily specials and desserts. Definitely a country cooking atmosphere. Ordered chicken fried steak dinner with string beans and Mac n cheese. Chicken fried steak left something to be desired. More coating than steak.
