Our recent stay at Southern Seasons Inn was nothing short of exceptional. This beautifully restored historic home is a sanctuary of comfort, charm, and unmatched hospitality.
From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed by the hosts, MaLisa and Kevin. Their warmth, attentiveness, and thoughtful touches made it feel less like a stay and more like visiting an old friend’s home. MaLisa even called us before our trip to ask about our dietary preferences and later texted to make sure we made it home safely—a level of care you rarely experience.
The room was spacious yet cozy, spotlessly clean, and furnished with well-appointed, luxurious touches—from high-end linens to the small, smart details like a pillow laptop desk. Every comfort was thoughtfully considered.
Breakfasts were gourmet, five-star meals personalized just for us. Each morning felt like a fine dining experience, but in a relaxed, homey setting. The porches and surrounding nature added to the tranquility—one highlight was watching a nesting dove just outside a beautiful wrap around porch.
The inn's location is another perk: centrally located and just a short walk from the heart of downtown Clarkesville. The grounds were immaculate, and the entire property radiated care and attention to detail.
We left feeling like we’d discovered a true gem and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful, personalized, and truly memorable getaway. A perfect description would be: a five-star boutique hotel with the coziness of home.
