Read MoreI had the Curry Goat, cabbage, rice and peas. My mouth is watering as I type this, just remembering how delicious it was. It was properly cooked, had a proper balanced amount of meat and fat with fork-splitting tenderness. My friend had chicken curry with vegetables and rice. Even though the Chicken Curry was a $5.99 lunch special item, my friend said it was a memorable, delicious dish. Considering their affordable prices, cleanliness and incredibly generous portions, I’ll be looking for excuses to return to the area just to visit Silva Bowl. Your meal will be served on a to-go container with plastic ware, whether you eat at the restaurant or not, so don’t expect fancy dishes or silverware, but the food, the atmosphere and incredible kindness of the owners/staff make that detail a non-issue. This is one of those places where Anthony Bourdain (RIP) would have been proud to eat at. I highly recommend it.
