They really need to do a lot of work with the aesthetics, but the place has potential. This is a straight up Chinese Puerto Rican spot ... a fusion that can't be beat! They have young Latina's taking orders up front while the Chinese guys cheffing it up in the back. The food was better than I expected and did remind me of my favorite fast food Chinese takeout back home in the Bronx back in the day.
The beef and broccoli were disappointing because the meat was really rubbery. But the Mofongo was sooooo soft, like buttery soft. It was really good. The boneless spare tips were excellent but the fried rice slightly bland but nothing some soy sauce couldn't remedy. I enjoyed having a can of Coco Rico with my meals like I do when I'm back in my other home of Puerto Rico. Im ready to try other menu items!
