Read MoreWe wanted a quiet place for a steak dinner date. I had made a reservation so there was zero wait when we walked in. This location had terrific reviews for both atmosphere and food. I extensively researched steakhouses in the area, and this one consistently came back to the top. We were seated at a corner table near window, which I had requested. In hindsight, I would have asked for a booth because there is no view to speak of. It’s a parking lot, but don’t let that deter you. The booth would’ve been a little more private.
Our server, Teresa was very friendly. Greeted us with suggestions for appetizers and took our drink orders pretty quickly. We Both ordered the petite fillet, medium rare with an add-on of grilled shrimp. We also ordered the au gratin potatoes.
The wait for our dinner was quite reasonable, but when our stakes arrived, the shrimp were absent from our plates. We asked the server delivering the food about the shrimp, and they said it was not added to the ticket. Somehow, Teresa did not hear that we wanted the add-on shrimp. Luckily, they were able to quickly fix the issue and our shrimp was delivered within about 8 to 10 minutes. Despite the hiccup with the shrimp, the steak and shrimp dinner was absolutely divine. Perfectly cooked, medium rare with the absolute best flavor. Perfectly seasoned. My husband is not an au gratin potato person, but he said those were the most delicious potatoes he’d ever had! Definitely an upgrade from a baked potato. Exactly what we were craving.
Teresa was so terrific that she added a dessert on her for the mistake with the shrimp. Ironically, she brought the dessert that we were both eyeballing on the menu. The crème brûlée cheesecake. Also quite delicious! Perfect for sharing.
When the bill was presented, the restaurant had not charged us for the shrimp or the dessert. We were quite grateful. My husband tipped generously and I added an extra $20 in cash. Overall amazing experience. I give it five stars across the board because of the stellar service and how delicious the food was. 10/10 recommend!
