Stephane Quinn was the ninth attorney I interviewed. I was very disappointed in all the attorneys I had interviewed. Half of them were overly aggressive on how they were going to tear my wife apart. A couple others were a little green behind the ear and it showed. The rest of them just didn't impress me either. By the end of my interview with Mr Quinn, I knew that he was the one that I should hire. He answered all my questions with clarity. He let me know that one of "my accounts" was a community account and that I'd have to split it. At least now I knew that I wouldn't have to fight for it. Another account that I thought was community, he assured me that it was not a community asset and she didn't have a claim to it. He was very decisive and explained why and how my assets would be split. He also spoke of trying to resolve as much as possible with my wife to avoid a "war". He mentioned that being generous could actually be to my benefit. The great thing about going with Mr Quinn is that he has a staff that handles different portions of my case. This is a big cost saver as his staff make significantly less than he does. All my concerns and questions were handled efficiently. A couple months into the divorce, my wife asked if we could mediate as I had mentioned it before. She was adamant that if we ever got divorced, she would get an attorney and "get what she's entitled to". She did research on this firm and stated "You've got a high power attorney with a staff! How am I going to compete with that?" And with that we transferred my case to a mediator. I was still very generous in mediation. If things go sideways, I would not hesitate to rehire Mr Quinn. I'll keep him in my back pocket! We've had a couple intense moments but we've powered through them. I thought that I would have to return to Quinn & Dworakowski. In conclusion, Mr Quinn is a little more expensive than all the attorneys I interviewed but you'll get what you pay for. Remember why divorces are expensive... because they're worth it! I'm glad that I had him initially represent me as he gave me hope and confidence on the process. So if you're looking for a divorce attorney, then you have to at least interview him!
