The Staff at Lonestar Patent Services were very courteous and helpful. They helped me navigate the patient process with ease and confidence. They asked many questions about my idea which further increased my belief and solidify my idea that it is something worth exploring in more detail. And lastly I felt confident that they would keep the idea private via a none disclosure agreement.

Lone Star patent service guarantees satisfaction n their online Internet ad copy found through a Google search. Afterwards signing is a contract list they provide as U.S. only 100 companies addresses to you that is your product packet that will be sent by you mailing out with own stamps you buy. However the list they provide comes from some unaudited outdated database of inaccurate information they blame on closed businesses they cannot account for. Near half of the listings LPS provided were useless, with companies that had nothing to do with my invention, or the company name given was not correct or the address was wrong or the company was a duplicate. Out of a 1,000 fortune 1000 corporation they mention to hook you, they only offer only 100 weak companies no one has ever heard of. . Most companies won't even consider unsolicited new product inquiries any way as standard operating procedures and they know this is standard operating procedures for unsolicited ideas to most any fortune 10 hundred or fortune 1,000 corporations. They failed to disclose this fact they only list 100 but they claim in ad copy to reach 1000 corporations.bait and switch offer. . For my product which relates to a bed pan toilet, some of the companies they provided for me to contact were a closed down operations because many of the brochures they produced were returned in mail, unopened. I spent time searching for a marketing company that offers marketing as they advertised with a guaranteed satisfaction that is a lie cause I am certainly not satisfied. Spent more money on stamps mailing packets to dozens of these fake "companies" believing that Lonestar Patent Services had provided accurate and relevant company listings for my specific product.They refuse to assist with finding or securing licensing agreements with companies that are not in USA. Even though the patent process permits for filing international protections . They don't tell you this up front, you simply find out their unwillingness when you ask for international company listings.are not included.Their contract mentions for a refund if you secure a licensing agreement that requires the patent be approved, and if the patent then gets denied and you had a licensing agreement with a company already, they say they refund you so they claim . All I heard was the buzzword money back if something did not work. they provide useless listings and licensing deals are virtually zero. There was no marketing provided as contracted! They don’t have a clue about marketing. So happy to have found Lone Star Patent Services. Kish and his entire team were really amazing to work with. They guided me through a process that I was otherwise at a total loss regarding how to navigate and what my next steps should be. After multiple conversations with other patent services, I found Lone Star Patent Services to offer the most complete solution at a price that was FAR more competitive than anyone else I spoke with. They have been great so far. I am only giving 4 stars because the process has just started (I have no doubt it will be changed to 5 stars by the end). However, the staff is great. They are helpful and intelligent. Whether you are a skilled inventor or a total novice like myself, Lonestar is a great choice.

Don't waste your time and money with this fraud! Condescending, gaslighting, victim-blaming Kish is a smooth talker but proved multiple times to be a liar that will slander you with absurd character assassinations when you find out they gave you garbage, and Rebecca tries to make jokes and be likeable but it's just to distract from the incompetence. Their contract (nearly $13k) requires they provide 100 companies to review your product, but the list they provide comes from some unaudited outdated database of inaccurate information they blame Dun & Bradstreet for. Almost half of the listings LPS provided were complete garbage that had nothing to do with my invention, or the company name/address given was wrong or the company was a duplicate of another company also provided with the same contact information. I figured this out by searching every single listing on the Internet to verify the information. Most companies I contacted won't even consider unsolicited new product inquiries. Their contractual obligation continues after 12 months if the provisional patent is upgraded to a full utility patent application, but they falsely claim after 4 months that it's already fulfilled entirely and if you don't get a licensing deal because the listings they gave you turned out to be mostly inaccurate, they still "fulfilled" the contract after the fourth month by giving you nonsense listings, and they deny wrongdoing. For my product which relates to a toilet, some companies they provided for me to contact pertained to home security, jewelry, concrete, outdoor water systems, one company website they gave me directed me to an illicit pill website and the address of one was a single family home with no company related to it. I wasted time and money mailing packets to dozens of these false "companies," having been deceived by Lonestar Patent Services in 2022 that the listings were accurate and relevant to my product. They say wait 2-3 months to hear back after mailing the packet but after 2 months they say it's actually 3-4 months. When the fourth month comes they say wait six months. Just keep waiting is what they'll tell you. Kish and Rebecca refuse to assist with licensing agreements with non U.S. companies, claiming foreign companies are unreliable and dealings with other countries' companies are "too risky." They don't tell you this up front, you simply find out when you ask for international company listings and they refuse. Even though the U.S. patent process permits for filing international protections, Kish and Rebecca claim no other country or foreign company can be trusted and the $13k+ you'll end up spending for LPS to help you get an agreement will be wasted hoping a U.S. company is interested. If not, you're out of luck and LPS thanks you for the money. Their contract provides for a refund ONLY if you secure a licensing agreement that requires the patent be approved, and if the patent then gets denied and you had a licensing agreement with a company already, they'll refund you. But they provide such useless company listings that your chances of getting a licensing deal are virtually zero, and the way LPS actually puts that clause into practice is they do everything to prevent you from getting a deal. Now I'm left hoping they didn't lie to me about the odds of the patent succeeding, cause if it fails and I don't secure a licensing agreement by then, I'm out more than $16,000, based on Kish's lies and dereliction. I'm also left considering legal remedies for Breach of Contract and gross incompetence, given how they stonewall and hinder your chances of success by refusing to provide valid companies in the amount they promise, and falsely claiming their contractual obligations to be fulfilled fully in year one, with no more willingness after that. They will also use your happiness with their services in year one against you when in year two, you learn their services had been a complete sham. A deal with Lonestar Patent Services is not safe! Stay away and save your time and money! BBB complaint filed too.

Kish is very unprofessional and referred to me today as a “prick” after paying 13k. He is the epitome of a used car salesman. Do yourself a favor and go to a private patent lawyer. They just contract out incompetent attorneys which I have learned the hard way. Do not use this company. I would not trust their “extensive patent search” because there is a product out there just like mine that was published in 2017. I met with them in 2020. Rebecca is great and the only light in the office. This is no reflection of her.

Kish & his team are professional, personable and know their stuff! They understand and practice honesty, integrity & generosity in business. I was so impressed with their business plan! If you have an invention, don't waste your time anywhere else. Go straight to the pro's - THESE GUYS! UPDATE: 03/07/2023: Once completed I must say I was dissatisfied in the lack of communication between the assigned attorney to my patent case and myself (wasn't even in the same state), and the packages/briefs I received that were to accompany my invention details were stuffed with irrelevant data to my invention/field. While I still think this was a good process for me to get started on my journey because I knew literally nothing about the process, it was quite expensive and don't think I'd do it again this route. I ended up having to continue prosecuting it with my own attorney in the end anyway. Best thing was the 2D invention rendering but I could've gotten that elsewhere for much cheaper. 2017: I'm about 2/5 thru the process it seems and so far everything has been great. I would definitely recommend to another inventor
