We all had water. The service was less than decent, . The restaurant was somewhat small and not very packed, but it took an abnormal amount of time for our food to be delivered. Furthermore, our waitress did not tend to us at all: no refills, no checking on us, no keeping us updated on the hold up. I would nothave left a tip, but my spouse paid while I used the restroom. We also noticed 2 tables that arrived after us were served before our food was served. The restroom was not pleasant in that the lights were super dim; there was dirty tissue on the floor, overall unclean and creepy feeling. Now, as for the food.my steak omelette was not giant as advertised. It was small. It tasted like nothing but dry steak. Plus, it had cheap sliced American cheese. The toast had so much butter on it that it poured out when I pressed down on it to spread the jelly. Hashbrowns were good. Pancakes were good. Hard to mess up bacon, so that was pleasant! Waffle was decent. $40 wasted.Not impressed with Louisiana cuisine so far.
