Do NOT trust this salon with your hair — especially Maicy!
I had an appointment with Maicy after seeing a balayage she did on another client that looked beautiful brunette with some subtle blonde pieces. I even showed her a picture of the exact look I wanted, which she confirmed was her work and said she could absolutely replicate. She sounded 100% confident and never mentioned anything about it taking multiple sessions. She made it seem like it was an easy, one-session job.
When the appointment was over, I was shocked. My hair looked nothing like the picture I showed her. It was completely different and not even close to the color or style I asked for. I told her right away that this wasn’t what I wanted and reminded her it was her own work I referenced. She apologized and said she would fix it.
That’s where things got worse. She started rescheduling and avoiding me. First, she said she was going on vacation. Then when she returned, she said she was tired. Then she said she had to attend a graduation. Excuse after excuse — for over a month — and she never fixed my hair.
After waiting patiently for a full month and still having hair I was deeply unhappy with, I asked for a refund. She refused. So I reached out to the salon’s manager, hoping for some professionalism. Unfortunately, the manager was just as unhelpful, very rude no manners and dismissive. There was no accountability, no effort to make things right just more avoidance and unprofessional behavior.
This whole experience was incredibly frustrating, disappointing, and honestly hurtful. I paid good money to walk away with ruined hair and no resolution.
I strongly urge others to stay away from this salon. They do not care about their clients, and they do not stand behind their work. Save yourself the stress, the money, and your hair — go somewhere else with real professionals who actually value their customers.
