Read MoreI haven't had much Korean food before, let alone "authentic" stuff, but I've been hearing this is authentic as it gets for Korean BBQ in the entire area as far as I'm aware. Went there early afternoon today with my dad, and man oh man was the food amazing, I don't even know where to start. All the little side dishes you get are perfect. And you know it's a good spot when it's a hole in the wall kind of place, not to mention you know it's good and authentic when literally everyone there was native Korean, be it customer and staff, the downside of this being that the staff spoke very little English but they knew enough to communicate for orders, paying etc. so you shouldn't have to worry about that. The beef short ribs were the star of the show in my opinion, wish we got more they were so delicious, had a nice little char flavor to them and were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and fairly generous portions of meat on them as well. The only thing I didn't care for was the Korean Sausage appetizer, it had a nice flavor but the texture didn't sit right with me. Overall, amazing and extremely authentic Korean BBQ, this is a MUST GO. Last thing I should mention, the sign above the store says something like "Black Box" with some Korean letters next to it, that's the right place.
