Prices are all over the map; some things are a great bargain, while other prices are so laughably overpriced that even when they're half price they're too expensive (and I see them sitting on the shelves sometimes for years). Last time I was in there was a jigsaw puzzle priced $25 just because it was still sealed (it would've been cheaper to buy it from a boutique toy store), and other puzzles at ludicrously high prices for no discernible reason; even on half-price day the price would be terribly unreasonable. I realize there are volunteers that do the pricing, but when someone is pricing things outlandishly it's time for the manager to have a word with that volunteer, or to kick the person off pricing duty. That said, there's an interesting selection, I almost always find something, and the money goes to a good cause. Volunteers are always kind and helpful.
