I first found out about THH Bakery Cafe from my home care nurse/friend Cecelia. Even though she is Pinoy (from the Philippines), She LOVES Vietnamese food. One day she brought me a Banh Mi sandwich from THH. Until then, I had only ever eaten a Banh Mi from Lee's Sandwiches (fast food chain - not Bad, just OK). Much to my Delight/Surprise, It was AMAZING!! Ever since then, I make it a point to stop at THH every time I have to go and visit the nurses (and sometimes I make the trip even between visits, it's THAT GOOD). Since then, I have developed a fondness for many other menu items. You truly can't beat their Cheap Prices or High-Quality. On top of all that, THH Bakery makes the best French baguette this side of Paris! In my humble opinion, I think everybody should try a sandwich from THH at least once in their life, THEY ARE THAT GOOD!!
BTW, I'm so sorry about the 4-Star rating, but it's for 1 Reason Only. Yes, I realize that a Vietnamese Restaurant IS going to have Vietnamese Employees, BUT... Sometimes the person at the counter doesn't even try to understand me. I'm Caucasian, and don't speak Vietnamese. Most days, they get someone from the back who speaks/understands English well enough to help me, but NOT ALWAYS. On 2 separate occasions, they didn't have anybody in the restaurant who understood English well enough to take my order. I ended up leaving both times without being able to purchase any food. That made me sad 💔. If you come during prime lunch hours (11am-2pm ish?), they ALWAYS have an English speaker on hand. I even had a High School student who was waiting for HIS lunch order offer to translate for me last week.
