We had a GREAT time at Duris Farms today! June 23, 2024. We’ve never been, but it was so convenient to stay close to home and pick these small but mighty berries with my family. It’s hard to find - the road has a “road closed” sign, and the address brings you to the back of an empty building. You have to continue down the road and look for the little sign!
Seems like a good price, and the perfect spot with big open fields and long views. I didn’t expect this in Kent! Beautiful, but dusty, fields, and a smaller berry. Unlike some of the bigger farms, this one is a lot more cozy and quiet. No hay rides or petting zoos or open air markets, just a stand with some berries to buy and a few other items for sale.
They provide the pallets! There are also a few port-a-potties and a handwashing station. This came in handy when cleaning up my dirt-and-berry-obsessed baby!
We got 8lbs of berries in 1 hour of picking and chasing our kids around. We’ll be back next year!

Conveniently located right off highway 167, this farm offers U-pick and freshly picked berries, as well as cherries and freshly made biscuits. The U-pick is $4.5/pound, which is quite expensive given you are doing the work, but it's one of my favorite summer activities to do with my toddler.
One major downside is the parking lot gets super dusty with cars coming in and out.

I wish I had read Brenda’s review first! We went today, thought the closed stand at the front of the road was it and nearly went home! Thankfully they answered the phone on the Google map profile and told us to drive a bit further back. It is definitely a smaller stand and you’d have to know it was there to get to it, but the U-Pick strawberries were perfect for our 3 year old to experience. The stand provides the boxes to collect the berries. The stand was also selling a lot of goodies and we were tempted into buying some shortcake biscuits ($9) and Rainier Cherries on top of our berries we picked. They were also selling the strawberry plants that they use in the field! We picked up two plants and we’ll see if they take in our garden.
The field is dusty, so expect mud if it has rained recently. There are two portapotties near the stand. Plenty of parking. A little mobile hand wash station I couldn’t figure out, but they also had baby wipes at the stand that we could use to wipe off the dust from our hands. Overall, we cannot wait to come back next year!

Today was the first day of this season! So many ripe strawberries~ we went towards the last day last year and had the tiniest but yummiest strawberries but since it was the first day we got some big ones! They’re so good! My kids loved them! U pick is 4.50/lb and they accept card but make sure you have the physical card not Apple Pay! They provide you boxes and you can pick to your desire! Hours are 9am-3pm and their Facebook page seems to be the most update info if anything might change!

We are from Texas and came here in Seattle to have more fun. We found this strawberry farm and told us they were closing by 1pm today because of the heat wave. We called few minutes before coming there to make sure they can still accommodate us. We came at before 1pm and no one was in the farm. The gate was closed and even said on their signage open till 3pm. We called and the lady named Debbie said they must have closed already early and said she can’t control the people in the farm. Very inconsiderate, lied to us and don’t keep their words. Beware of this farm especially visitors from out of town! Even if you call ahead, don’t believe a word they say! All 6 kids who were with us were looking forward to a day of picking strawberries but were sad and left disappointed!
