Read MoreWe were referred to InStock by a family member, so we thought it would be a good company. We went to pick out the flooring and they seemed really nice and helpful. However, we felt a little like we were being steered toward a certain kind of flooring ( the more expensive kind) because that was what our family members got. The flooring was nice and we needed it in soon and was promised that it would be installed in three weeks time. So we chose some laminate flooring and paid for it. Well, after our initial visit to the store the communication from the store owner/manager
Dennis began to break down. After four weeks had passed we called him multiple time asking when it was going to be installed. He gave us the run around and every time he said he would find out from his son and call us back. Six weeks after we paid them our money, still no floor. After seven weeks, I finally called and threatened to take my business elsewhere. The next day they suddenly appeared and finally installed my floor. While installing they asked if they could store their saws in my garage so they wouldn't have to transport them back and forth, which was understandable. I gave them permission to do so. However after they finished, I noticed that they not only stored their saws in my garage but was cutting the flooring inside the garage and got dust all over our stuff that was in the garage. They still have not finished some trim work that they promised, to cover the gap between the floor and the cabinets. I would never recommend these guys to anyone I know or anyone else for that matter, unless you want to deal with a big headache.
