The reviews seemed decent and my dog's evaluation day seemed to go well. I think the only thing they ticked off on the sheet was that he's pushy. Well duh, he's a herding breed!
Day 3 out of 5, I get multiple calls. When I finally get a chance to answer (we were in FL at a water park) they said he'd gotten aggressive with another dog and snapped at a staff member, he needs to be picked up. Told them that wasn't possible as I'm out of state, they said they'd call me back but never did.
A few days later picking him up, my dog starts coughing. Within 2 days of that starting he was refusing to eat or drink and barely moved. Thankfully I work for a vet, who diagnosed him with a severe case of kennel cough. Even now, a month later, he's still not better and we're switching him to a stronger antibiotic. Found out in my neighborhood group that at least 3 other dogs who boarded around the same time as mine came down with the same illness. One even had to be hospitalized. Not worth the risk!
