In my quest to visit every Catholic Church in San Diego county, I visited Mary, Star of the Sea. Loved how special this church is, just beautiful. Very welcoming in the 7:30 service. Also, was near great breakfast places.

Nice very pretty church, but the priest talks too long and inserts homily into numerous places that it doesn’t belong, like just before the Our Father. Homily belongs in the homily.

Beautiful church with many services offered, including both Spanish and English language masses. Daily mass readings matched those for the first Advent Sunday. Good choir.
