The work that they do for low income and houseless people, is truly an answer to Christ’s call to “Love thy Neighbor.”And the MUSIC at Mass was lovely, such beautiful voices, and there was even a harp!I will say that I have only been to this church once, while on vacation in Seattle, but I was truly impressed with the parishioners at this beautiful church. Everyone was so welcoming, they explained the mission of the church, and the reason (a very good one) that they are in an old hotel. Because they don’t look like a typical church on the outside, it could be easy to miss, but on Sunday morning they had greeter outside to make sure they can direct anybody looking for the church, which was very helpful.I would say that the name of this church, Christ Our Hope, intrinsically captures the spirit of the parishioners, and the work that they do. It’s beautiful, and necessary for our time.I want to sincerely thank all of those at this parish who are involved in their ministry!
