I went there yesterday morning because I slammed my finger in the front door really bad, and my nail had a bruise under it and some really gross dead skin. I was scared because I’d never gotten an injury like that before and I wanted to get it looked at asap. The receptionist was super nice (I can’t remember her name and I feel really bad, but she had glasses and a ponytail) and she also helped take my vitals before the doctor came in. (I think she was a doctor’s assistant or something like that, I don’t remember her official title but she was also the receptionist.) Will was the doctor who looked at me, and he was amazing. He was super nice and reassuring, and explained everything very clearly to me and answered all my questions. Cindy did my x-ray, and she was super nice as well. (No fractures, and my wound will pretty much heal on its own, so yay). I also got a tetanus shot (they offered since I had an open wound) which the aforementioned assistant did and she did an AMAZING job! Found my vein straight away and the shot itself was literally like half a second, I didn’t even realize she finished.
I should add that I’ve also been there before a couple times to get my earwax removed, which I should probably do again soon. And those went smoothly as well. Basically they looked inside my ears, then removed the earwax gently with a squirt gun looking thing. Didn’t hurt at all, no damage to the eardrums and I could actually HEAR again.
All in all, I’ve had smooth professional experiences with this urgent care center and will absolutely stick to them. Highly recommend!
