I met with my own dentist, an endodontist and a few different oral surgeons to learn more and try to find a treatment plan for the tooth that worked for me. (It could not be saved due to the fracture radiating down into the root.)
I visited Affordable for an initial consultation, where I met with Christie and Dr. Carroll. Both were friendly, patient and answered all of my questions. There was no pressure to move forward; I was encouraged to call with any additional questions while I thought about what to do. When I went back to schedule and pre-pay for the proposed treatment plan, they were again patient and answered all questions. Vanessa at the front desk was also very kind and helpful. They were able to get me in for the procedures quickly, for which I am very grateful.
I decided on an implant and they were able to do both the extraction and the implant on the same day. I was anxious, but Dr. Carroll and Natasha talked me through what they were doing with the extraction and kept checking in to make sure I was comfortable. Dr. Nix and Megan then did the implant and she also provided lots of additional information about her part of the procedure. Both the extraction and the implant were painless; I only felt some mild pressure.
Recovery for the past two weeks has followed the trajectory that the folks at Affordable prepared me for. I'm looking forward to the next step in a few months for the crown, after the implant has healed.
After doing my homework with several other providers, I'm glad that I decided to go with Affordable. Both doctors and all staff that I interacted with were great. It's a relaxed environment, no pressure, and everyone was willing to take time to answer my many questions. They seem to care a great deal about providing a comfortable and supportive experience for their patients.
