I'm 33 and work alot. Got a 90 minute deep tissue massage from Eva Zhang 2 days ago that changed my life already. My neck makes me feel like an owl right now, no one is sneaking up on me from behind I promise. I wish I took a before and after picture of my feet. Had calf and ankle tightness that led to poor circulation in my feet. The muscles beneath my pinky toes and my heels felt like flat tires and were callused and weak. This made me walk on my toes more which caused painful big toe calluses I had to shave every other day. Oh and good old fashioned ankle pain. I basically was walking with my big toe in the air to avoid pain. Walking that way eventually led to inner knee, Achilles and hamstring and lower back tightness. One of my jobs had me moving boxes a lot and I basically couldn't use my core correctly because of the tightness and would get shoulder and neck stiffness. Eva did ask me what my problems were and worked on them. But it's almost like I didn't need to tell her anything at all. The session was long enough where she was able to meticulously work on every knot in my neck and shoulders. And I don't know how to describe it other than it feels like she moved the muscles in my feet and ankles into the shape they are supposed to be in, it's actually crazy. I've had deep tissue massages before over the years to help. Been doing all types of stretching, body weight balance and light weight training over the years to relieve the pain and generally move/walk correctly. It's always felt like my progress was stopping earlier than it should be and I should be more mobile and flexible by now. After the massage I took a hot bath and went to sleep. The next day I tended to my feet and took another bath. This morning I woke up and have never felt so strong and so coordinated. My back has never felt like this before. My feet have never been so pink, skin never this soft and warm. My ankles feel like pistons right now. Pinky toes got kung fu grip. And it feels like overnight I became infinitely more flexible, like the years of stretching was rewarded all at once. I feel like Captain America when he first gets the super spider serum. I can jump to the moon right now lol Obviously something was really wrong with me in the first place to feel this type of relief but it isn't and exaggeration to say this changed my life. I'm looking forward to really being able to exercise like I want. Can't wait to come back thank you soo much Eva!
