Whoa, as I sit here writing this review, it makes me so grateful- that in a stressful world filled with ups and downs there are still kind, thoughtful, and genuine people. AV Sierra Dental is incredible. I was not having a good morning, it was cold and looked like rain was coming. And as soon as I walked in I was greeted by the receptionist Jess. Bright and cheery and quick to acknowledge me. Then I go inside and I'm greeted by the dental assistant Genesis. I started tearing up because my tooth was hurting a little bit and she quickly went to get me a tissue. Didn't hesitate, very empathetic. She made sure I was comfortable, offered water and blankets, and started getting the xrays completed in a timely fashion. Was I in a spa? Lol. Then I got Dr. Vu. She's so incredibly sweet, and explained things so I could understand what needed to be done, She was like a cool friend or co worker that you haven't talked to in a long time. She was attentive during the whole session and stayed by my side. I didn't feel a thing. I was extremely nervous, I didn't tell her, but her calm energy helped me to calm down. Thank you Dr. Vu for considering my feelings and my anxiety and not judging me. What I noticed about Dr. Vu is she didn't talk down to her team, she was calm and kind to them, treated them as an equal. This does not happen in most medical fields, a lot of doctors treat others who work for them -not the greatest. But Doctor Vu is a different kind of Doctor. These are things you don't learn in school. These empathetic characteristics that these women show, is a sign of unmatched dedication, surrounding yourself around good people, hiring people who fit the culture, and having integrity. I actually look forward to going to the dentist and I never thought I would say that in a million years. Thank you to your team of unmatched care. Also, I don't remember her name, but she was really attentive too, and she had really cool hair. I apologize that I forgot your name, but I appreciate the few moments I got to speak with you.
