They were extremely professional from the very start. They reached out to me immediately after the referral to make sure I had all the necessary paperwork and scheduled me for a consultation the same week.
During the appointment, Dr. Itani was very patient with me and extremely respectful of my boundaries around having my face and mouth touched by medical providers. We were able to get X-rays and he explained in detail the work that would be necessary (which aligned perfectly with my previous dentist's thoughts).
Afterwards, Thalia walked me through the itemized cost estimates, what my insurance would cover, and the payment options available to me. Unlike most medical services, I left feeling like I had a very good grasp on what was being recommended, why it was being recommended, and exactly how much I was going to be responsible for paying.
With all that said, this kind of work does not come cheap. It's just the nature of the game with anything requiring multiple coordinating doctors (as well as an anaesthesiologist). I knew that going into it, and I was very happy that Thalia didn't attempt to sweep that under the rug and instead sat down with me to come up with a game plan and options.
Overall, extremely happy with my first experience, and I'm very optimistic about getting the work I need done via Itani Dental.
