At the age of 13, I got hit by a car and had pretty severe injuries. My left leg was broken in two places and the right one had one break and both had many torn tendons and ligaments which required surgery and over 150 stitches in each knee. I also broke my pelvic bone and had internal bleeding, along with other injuries. I am now 65 years old. Three years ago I had a total knee replacement on my left knee. It has been a long haul to get back in shape again. Although I've been to therapy many times before I have never had The kind of attentiveness that I've had here. Tara, Stephanie, Yoseph and Amanda are all great! But Fred is the guy who does all the evaluations on the patients here, he is amazing. Every couple of weeks he reevaluates you, to try to pinpoint exactly where your injuries are coming from. After each evaluation he comes up with the whole new plan for your recovery. The last evaluation he discovered that because I have been walking and favoring my left side for so many years I have to retrain my brain to overcome this. Not an easy task after 52 years. After pinpointing my issues he set up Tara to work with me from then on. Turns out that my weakest points are my ankles, hip flexors and my glutes, mainly on my left side. Tara worked me hard on those areas. I learned that the most painful exercises were the ones I needed most. I finished up PT last Friday. I'm not 100%, but thanks to Tara, I do have a full schedule of exercises and stretches to do, that I am sure will get me the rest of the way through. She is a very special girl who has a bright future ahead of her. I have always been an active 65-year-old woman who loves to take long walks on the beach and loves adventure. Thank you all for giving me back my life. 🥰 I also must mention that the girl at the front desk is a pleasure. I believe her name is Jillian. She always has a great smile and is eager to help.
Thank You All!
