I had my annual physical three weeks ago in February 2022. The appointment took three hours. I waited in the exam room for more than 90 minutes. I have always liked my doctor, Aileen Norden, but I have no idea if she knows how chaotic her practice is. She finally came in and we decided on a course of action for several things (blood tests, an order for a colonoscopy, referrals, and a tetanus booster). After the doctor left I waited in the exam room for the nurse for an additional 30 minutes. I flagged someone down who said they would find the nurse. Another 30 minutes went by and still no help. I eventually left in frustration because I was late for a work meeting. I never got my tetanus booster.
I started following up by the patient portal to try and get the referrals and the order for the colonoscopy. My emails went unanswered. When I finally got a response it was a one liner with no punctuation that didn't even answer my questions.
The last straw for me is that one of my other doctors needs my blood work that was done for my annual physical. Three weeks later, it still is not uploaded to the patient portal. Numerous calls and emails have gone unanswered. At this point, I might just pay for the blood tests to be redone at my other doctor's office.
While the doctors seem great, the staff at this office are completely unresponsive.
